I was always passionate about Art! In need of a career that included both Engineering and Art I found the ideal path. I studied at Panamerican University at Mexico City, made a reaserach stay at MIT and studied abroad at DePaul Universtiry at Chicago. I graduated with honors and exploited my university stay with various projects in educational innovation, gender equity, project management, art and technology.
After having worked in 2019 as a project manager in a software development startup, I fell in love with Project Management. I am a self-taught learner. Most of what I learned was through practice and studies that I did on my own. I was awarded a scholarship to take the MIT Professional Education Leading Digital Transformation Certificate and, thanks to my performance, another scholarship to take Cloud and DevOps Certificate. After studying SCRUM in depth, in 2020 I was the head of the PM area in a startup where I started a migration to agile. What a challenge! My specialty helped me to complement my work and continue looking for objects of study within my area.
Thanks to a computer teaching project for girls in which I was a volunteer, Beautiful Patterns, I discovered my passion for teaching. In 2018 I gave sessions in this bootcamp and since then I knew that teaching had to be part of my life. The rest of my academic life I always look for ways to share what I know. I am an instructor for the Online Coding Certificate: MERN fullstack at Emeritus, representing MITxPro. Web development teacher at my alma mater, the Panamerican University. I have given intensive courses for SCRUM Fundamentals certification. Nowadays, I am Director within the open-source Project: Beautiful Patterns.
